Joe has been happily married to his wife Christy since 2001 and has four children, Elijah, Selah, David, and Elisabeth. The McAlpines are originally from the Chicago area. In his spare time you can find him hanging out with his family and playing his ukulele.

When I got married in 2001, I was 6’2″ and 165 pounds.  To say the least, I was a beanpole.  Fast forward to 2017 and I hit a grand total of 271 pounds.  My health was in the way of me really living the life that I wanted to live
.  When I was at my lowest point, a friend called me and offered to help me get healthy.  Three months later I was 50 pounds down and well on my way to optimal living.  Having found another passion, my health, I became determined to help others along the same journey.

I received a health coaching certification from Villenova Universities Center for Obesity Prevention and Education and since then, have helped dozens of people lose hundreds of pounds and keep it off!
